Dr. Allie truly feels that no woman should have to struggle to feel good again after having a baby. As a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist and mom of two beautiful babies, her goal is to educate and empower women by giving them the tools to heal their body in a healthy and sustainable way.
Dr. Allie was humbled by her postpartum experience when she began experiencing leaks with exercise and even sneezing, diastasis recti (abdominal separation) and pelvic pain. As a physical therapist and fitness fanatic she just couldn’t accept that this was her new normal. She also knew that there was so much more that should go into proper postpartum recovery other than one 6 week follow up at the OBGYN. She decided to pursue a specialty in pelvic floor physical therapy. She began studying all things pelvic health, women’s health and postpartum exercise. She discovered a whole world out there dedicated to improving women’s lives. She decided then and there that she wanted to be that world for other women just like herself. She wanted to be that person that women turned to and trusted to help them heal their body whether postpartum or not.
Dr. Allie has been practicing Physical Therapy for 16 years. She graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2006 with a Masters in Physical Therapy and from Boston University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2010. She has an extensive background in Orthopedics where she spent the majority of her earlier career to which she feels gives her a great advantage to bridge the gap between pelvic floor rehab and returning to higher level exercise. She received her Manual Therapy certification from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2012. Dr. Allie is certified in functional Dry needling and is a certified Yoga Therapist.
She enjoys adding yoga philosophy into her treatments and firmly believes proper breath work is the key to building the proper foundation for recovery. Dr. Allie received her Pelvic Floor training from the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute and is a Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist certified through Sarah Duvall’s core exercise solutions.
Dr. Allie is the founder of THECOREMAMMA.com an online community dedicated to helping women heal their bodies and getting stronger than ever postpartum. She is on a mission to provide the Bluffton community and surrounding areas the safe space she wishes she had when she was not only postpartum, but struggling with pelvic health issues that sometimes women are too embarrassed to talk about. Revive Rehab, LLC was formed to be that safe space for all women to heal their bodies, return to their desired activities, educate themselves on how to improve their health and come out stronger than ever.

Dr. Jennifer Farrison is a doctor of physical therapy and co-owner of Revive Rehab, LLC. Dr. Jenn is an orthopedic and pelvic floor health and wellness physical therapist with special training in pregnancy and postpartum care. Dr. Jenn has been practicing physical therapy for almost fifteen years, with an extensive background in orthopedics, sports care, manual therapy, and dry needling for patients of all ages.
Dr. Jenn’s dedication to educating the community drives her mission to challenge the normalization of postpartum dysfunction. She believes wholeheartedly that pelvic floor physical therapy should become the standard of care not just for postpartum women, but for anyone with pelvic dysfunction, fostering a comfortable and confident approach to healing. She wants to offer a safe place for people to improve their symptoms and reduce embarrassment and the stigma that surrounds pelvic dysfunction. Dr. Jenn wants you to know that pelvic floor physical therapy is not an instant fix, it will take time, but it is worth the effort to master the basics, retrain the body and brain connections, and decrease the chance of complications so that you can safely get back to your previous activities and the things that you love.
Dr. Jenn is originally from Watertown, NY, and she received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Clarkson University in 2009. She then built her experience as a travel physical therapist, beginning her career in SC, then traveling to GA, TX, and NY before returning to SC, where she met her husband in 2015. Dr. Jenn later gave birth to their two incredible children, a daughter in 2019 and a son in early 2022. Her motherhood journey is what made her passion and enthusiasm for women’s health care grow. Dr. Jenn had planned on two vaginal births, but ended up having two c-sections and some of the complications that come along with major abdominal surgery. She learned that c-section recovery takes time and patience and comes with its own set of frustrations, having personal experience with c-section scar tissue restrictions, leakage, post-surgical edema, and extended recovery all while caring for a newborn and going through her own rehab
